Franklin Benjamin DeHaven (American, New York, 1856 to 1934)
A talented American tonalist, DeHaven was born in Indiana and then moved to New York in 1886 where he studied under George Henry Smillie. DeHaven is known for his handling and appreciation for dramatic skies and nature scenes.
