George W. Drew (1875-1968)

New York native, George W. Drew was born in 1875 and is most remembered for his landscape paintings. Drew studied under the artists John Califano and Henry Pember Smith and held various exhibits at locations such as the National Academy of Design (1898), the New York State Fair, the Newark Museum, and the New York Museum of Science and Industry. He was a member of the Allied Arts of America, Salons of America, and the Society of Independent Artists. Drew died in 1968 in New York City.
