James Everett Stuart (1852-1941)
Working in California, Stuart studied with well-known artists William Keith and Thomas Hill. He painted over 5,000 works, some of which are included in the collections of Los Angeles Museum of History, Science and Art, Los Angeles Art Association, Reno Arts & Crafts Society, de Young Museum (San Francisco), and the Golden Gate State Park Museum.
